JOSÉ HERRERA

José Herrera (Almería, 1991) Student of Graphic Design at ESNE (Escuela Universitaria de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología). “Cazatalentos” is his first short film as scriptwriter and director with 12 Pingüinos Animation Studio, with which he has been awarded a lot of prizes. We remark the Goya for the best short animation film 2019. In 2019 founds CAZATALENTOS PRODUCCIONES with Manuel Sirgo and Agustín Serrabona in Almería, Andalucía (Spain).

MANUEL SIRGO

Manuel Sirgo (Valladolid, 1965) Director, producer, designer of animated films and Teacher at universities and audiovisual centres. Member of animated films in the Board of Directors of the Spanish Cinema Academy, he founded the production company 12 Pingüinos S.L. in 1997, through which he has won a lot of prizes related to cinema. We remark two Goya prizes. In 2002 he was awarded the Goya for the Best animated film “Pollo” and in 2019 Best short film “Cazatalentos». He has collaborated in renowned enterprises such as Hanna Barbera, Walt Disney, Warner Bros, Televisión Española and Cromosoma.

RODRIGO RODRÍGUEZ

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

An Illustrator with a long career, He has trained and developed in the Arts of drawing and painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and the “Escuela de Arte 10”.

Collaborating in several illustration campaigns and publishers as; “Megatrix Club” Magazine, “University of Comillas”, Ikea or the “IV Centenary” for the second part of the prestigious novel “Don Quijote de la mancha” ( Don Quixote).

Since 1997 He has been collaborating with the Animation Studio “12 pingüinos”, in different tasks as; animations, storyboard and 3D animations in more than 100 productions, among advertising campaigns, TV series and animation projects for Feature length movies. Amid these works, Highlighting in 2D animation the “Las tres mellizas” (Cromosoma – TVE) and feature movies as; Arrugas (GOYA Award 2011) or the Cubby House Project and in 3D animation; “El sueño de una noche de verano” (midsummer night’s dream) and “El Bosque Encantado 2” (The enchanted forest 2).

In 2019 He takes the lead of the Artistic Direction in “Cazatalentos” (Feature-length), in a tight collaboration with Jose Herrera and Manuel Sirgo.

Marina Heredia - singer

MARINA HEREDIA

PRINCIPAL SONG SINGER

MARINA HEREDIA RÍOS, gypsy singer, best known in the world of flamenco singing art with the stage name of MARINA HEREDIA, was born in Granada on April 10, 1980.

Her father is Jaime Heredia Amaya «El Parrón». She has a background in almost all the gypsy families of Granada, the Maya, the Amaya, and the Heredia. She entered a recording studio at the age of thirteen with Pepe Habichuela, Enrique and Estrella Morente. From the age of fifteen she began to be heard from the back of the flamenco scenes, firstly by bailaoras (La China) and later with guitarists such as Miguel Ángel Cortés. She replaced Carmen Linares in a María Pagés show at the Granada Music and Dance Festival.

In classical matters, she collaborated in the last Seville Flamenco Biennial with José María Gallardo on six songs that would be published on a record recorded in that performance, «La Maestranza». He also sits behind Eva la Yerbabuena, chair with chair with Archangel. More disparate performances should also be mentioned, such as that of the Asparagus Rock-98, or in the opera «Amore», by Mauricio Sotelo. Good temperament and young voice trying to bring out the old dark. She claims to have learned from her father, Jaime el Parrón. She plays tangos from her land, and among the licenses that she can well afford, her joys stand out.

David Miralles

DAVID MIRALLES

COMPOSER

David Miralles (Almería, 1975). He holds a degree of Education, University of Almería and is composer for cinema, TV, theatre, videogames, publishing houses and record companies.

Composer of more than 200 songs released with a few publishing houses like SM, ALGAIDA and EDELVIVES. He has composed the songs for education projects such as GUAU, SAVIA, ¿LO VES?, LA GRANJA DE NITO, SAVIA, SonRisas, ABCole and PALOMITAS DE MAÍZ. He has created the soundtracks of a lot of short films, musicals, theatre plays, cartoons, ads, documentaries, videogames and tales.

Fran Hita

FRAN HITA

MUSICAL DIRECTOR

Director, piano player and composer from Almería he has been invited to many different orchestras and concert bands. He is currently engaged as chief conductor and guest director. Lead conductor of the City Music Band of Daganzo (Madrid) since 2013. In 2017 he directed the Varna Philharmonic Orchestra, in the Contemporary Art Museum of Varna, Bulgaria.

Antonio de Quero

ANTONIO DE QUERO

COMPOSER

Antonio de Quero (Almería, 1991) family with a long flamenco tradition. He studied classic guitar and Teaching guitar at the Real Conservatorio (Music School) in Almería. Winner of the prize Desencaja in 2014 and 2015.

Playing backing guitar for singing and dancing among his collaborations we can remark: Rocío Segura, Pepe Sorroche, Ezequiel Benítez, Niño de las Cuevas, Rocío Zamora, Antonio el Genial and Inés de Inés.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication by the Complutense University of Madrid, since 2000 she is Director of the production company CTP SA, with more than 200 hours of TV (game show contests, divulgation, documentary and advertisement).

In 2007 produces the documentary film ‘El Sexo de los Dinosaurios’ (The Sex of Dinosaurs), released in Spain and broadcasted by RTVE with a great audience success.

She had previously represented the Spanish part in the Spanish-French-Colombian film ‘El Rey’ (The King) nominated to Goya Best Latinamerican film 2004.

In 2015 finishes the animation film ‘The Cubby House Project’, declared of special interes for infants, about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights for children and teenagers through a fiction story.

Since 2018 apart from continuing her career, she teaches Cinema Production at the “Escuela Universitaria de Innovación y Tecnología”, ESNE, in the 4th year of the Animation BA.

Agustin Serrabona

AGUSTÍN SERRABONA

Agustín Serrabona López is partner of the recently created enterprise CAZATALENTOS PRODUCCIONES S.L. He is a businessman and lives in Huércal de Almería, he is the CEO of the AGAVE group of companies. 

He is a Tax Advisor and runs the consulting firm through the company Serrabona y Díaz S.L.

Businessmasn since 1991, he founded Centro Educativo Agave with his wife, education institution in Almería with a great prestige in the area. He is also founder of the Agave International School in Cartagena in 2017. All his enterprises have 170 people working on them. Schools of AGAVE Group educate more than 1100 students.

As director of education enterprises, he is a member of the National Board of Directors of ACADE, a business association of the education sector, he was a memebr of the Spanish School Council and from 16 years ago he is the President of ACADE-Andalucía, enterprise association in the Community of Andalucía.
